The legendary actor Rajinikanth made his Hollywood debut with Bloodstone in 1988 and after almost three decades his son-in-law, Dhanush, has made his maiden Hollywood foray with The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. The actor signed this debut project out of the three Hollywood options he was offered. The actor who is on his way to direct his second venture admits to learning a lot about filmmaking since his stint in Hollywood.
Kannada star Sudeep has successfully done crossover projects in Hindi as well as Tamil industry. Now, the actor has also completed his Hollywood sojourn with Australian filmmaker Eddie Arya’s sci-fi thriller Risen. The actor plays an Army officer in the flick based on events following a minor meteorite explosion in a town of Alaska, US. However,the verdict of his fans over this Hollywood debut has been mixed.
The daughter of veteran actor Mohan Babu has made parallel work in Hollywood and Telugu cinema an art. Her debut was with the American television series Las Vegas, but the actor has also garnered two Filmfare Awards South. Besides, Laksmi has also appeared in Boston Legal, Mystery ER and Desperate Housewives.
Rajesh has had major successes in both Marathi and Hindi movies, be it Zenda, Sarkar Raj, Swarajya Marathi Paul Padate Pudhe and Romeo Akbar Walter. However, in 2012 he stepped into Hollywood with Seal Team Six. The very next year saw him in another Hollywood project, Gandhi of The Month.
